WELCOME TO A WORLD OF WONDER
On arrival at Yangon International Airport you will be met by our representative. So you have a safe and relaxed beginning of your trip. No trouble at the airport of finding the way, looking for a taxi oder changing money (at a bad rate). Transfer to your Hotel. This can take a bit of time as the traffic in Yangon is heavy depending on the time of the day. Balance of the day at leisure to your own exploration.

FROM A CITY CENTRE TO A MAGIC PLACE
Drive through the country side and see the wonderful Mt. Popa before arriving in Bagan. Not too far away from Bagan you will reach Mount Popa, one of Myanmar's great places. If you have more time, amybe you stay for one night, climb up to the real Mount Popa. Start early in the morning. . .
PAGODAS AND TEMPLES – EVERYWHERE
Take your time to explore the pagoda field with an acient history. Maybe you look for a local guide or you just hire a bicycle and go around by yourself. find your own way, follow your own interests. Be sure: You can'nt get lost even there are thousands of pagodas and temples. Just be careful if you explore off-sides tracks: In the hot period there are many snakes around.
A SHORT DRIVE INTO ANOTHER WORLD
This is a scenic drive, not too long. But Kalaw and its colonial flair will give you glimpse of former burmese days, when Kalaw was popular for a cooler summer break. One day or overnighttrekking through pine trees and tea plantations is popular. You will see hill tribe villages with beautiful views of the Shan hills surrounding in Kalaw. Venture into the mountains and meet the colorfully dressed people of ethnic minority hill group like Palaung, Danu and Taung Yo.
Chance to explore some of the most beautiful and historically significant temples. Witness sunset over the plain and Ayeyarwaddy river from one of the monument.
WHAT A LAKE – WHAT A GLORY MORNING
Early wakeup and a morning on the lake, which you will not forget for a long time. This is the day you can explore the Inle Lake and its surroundings by your own. Travel around and have a rest in one of the many restaurants. . . A day you will remember. . . But: Start early, and check the best place for one of the local markets around the lake. And in the evening: Reserve a table at the "Live Dim Sum House" for dinner. A small local place, but we love it.
ON THE WAY TO THE NEW BUT STRANGE CAPITAL
On the way back to the "old capital" have a stop halfway in the "new capital"

As a rule, they speak at least basic English (rarely German, Chinese & Thai language skills). They are not tourist guides or official guides. But they know their homeland Myanmar (Burma) well. They also assist you in the selection of restaurants or lodging during the trip. This route is only a suggestion.
